Degree in Education /History from Mount Saint Mary College and his B.A. Degree in Drama and Business Administration from Morehouse College. T. Harvey is a long standing active member of the Sreen Actors Guild (SAG) working of films and movies while being a History Instructor at Newburgh Free Academy, in Newburgh, New York in the new Excelsior Academy PTech Program housed at NFA North Campus. He was the Faculty Advisor for both the NFA All Star Dance team and NFA Step Squad for 12 years. In addition, T. Harvey is a partner in Prestigious Music Group (PMG) International Inc. which has launched two new artist : ESTY in debut album "Optimistic" and Dazzle D the Hood Rock Star. T. Harvey is very active all over the world and within his community as a former Commissioner on the Art and Cultural for the City of Newburgh, New York.

Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA as a singer with the World Renowned Morehouse College Glee Club alongside Gloria Estefan (REACH), Trisha Yearwood, and Stevie Wonder (IMAGINE) after an extended Tour of Russia along the Volgar River, first performing with The Morehouse College Glee Club in Moscow at the RACHMANIOFF Theater ( Summer 1996).

Torrance Harvey, Born in Poughkeepsie, New York along with an identical twin brother (Torrino Harvey) and six other siblings took his first step out of poverty and towards a performing arts career in the 1980s as Hip Hop Dynamic Duo "TNT Twinz" for BizBeat Entertainment/ BizBeat Television, under the direction of Derek Wilson and Barbara Baker, rapping and dancing on the world renowned "Club MTV" with Downtown Julie Brown and making guest appearances in Daytona Beach,FL along with YO MTV RAPS Dr. Dre and ED Lover. Soon after touring all over the world and appearing in NYC on stages with Wycef, Lauren Hill, Mc Lyte, Daren Dewitt Henson, and Lisa Nicole Carson, in the Hip Hop version of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at the WestBeth Theater in New York City sponsored by the Shubert Organization and directed by Patricia Birch of Greese, entitled, Club XII (1991).
Then the TNT Twinz decided to obtain B. A. Degrees in Drama from Morehouse College (Class of 1997) while Majoring in Drama (Acting) and Business Administration at Morehouse College, the alma mater of such distinguished Alumnus such as Dr. Martin L. King Jr. '48, Samuel L. Jackson '69, Shelton "Spike Lee ''79 , and Bill Nunn ''78. ". After graduating from Morehouse College, T. Harvey was recruited from New York City to attend and matriculate in a rigorous training program for an MFA in Acting at DePaul University"The Theater School" formally The Goodman School of Drama in Chicago, Illinois, (1998-1999) and later recieved a M.S. Then after the passing of Mayor Judy Kennedy, Mayor Torrance Harvey was appointed unanimously by his colleagues on the City Council for Mayor for the City of Newburgh, New York. Then he was re-elected to a full Mayorial term in 2019.
